After the Christmas break, in today's sixth episode, we take a look at the flight from Montpellier, France, to Barcelona. Originally, we weren't planning to land in Montpellier, but to fly directly from Cannes to Barcelona. The reason we ended up flying via Montpellier was that Montpellier, unlike Cannes, is an international airport with 24-hour non-stop service. After arriving in Barcelona, we needed to catch an afternoon flight to Ibiza, which we certainly wouldn't have if we were flying out of Cannes, where the airport doesn't open until the morning. Luckily, we managed to fit everything in, although we were pressed for time during the whole flight to Barcelona. The flight was uneventful, but after entering the Barcelona terminal control area, we had to be as punctual as a Swiss watch. It was a thrilling "ride."
