Ravish Kumar speaks to journalist Nitin Sethi about his article in the Huffington Post alleging that the government disregarded the concerns raised by the Election Commission as well as the Reserve Bank of India on electoral bonds. Mr Sethi says that he spent three months studying documents accessed by activist Commodore Lokesh Batra (Retd) related to the electoral bonds scheme. "This scheme opens up a secret tunnel for wealthy people to donate as much money as they wish to political parties anonymously. The scheme is such that the ruling government has the freedom to track who is funding other political parties", he adds.
