Where I FOUND PEACE This Day on Busy HONG KONG ISLAND (Béthanie, Aberdeen, Repulse Bay, Stanley)

The idea to escape from the bustling heart of Hong Kong Island came to me after spending two days there. Early in the morning, I headed south to Aberdeen, a quiet fishing village. Along the way, Béthanie, a Paris Foreign Mission Society sanatorium and dairy farm, caught my attention - it turned out to be a great stop exploring 150 years of legacy! After exploring Aberdeen and taking a boat ride on a local traditional boat, I found myself on Ap Lei Chau, the most densely populated island in the world. It was worth visiting it to admire its concrete jungle. Passing by Hong Kong Ocean Park, I finally reached the tranquil beaches of Deep Water Bay and Repulse Bay. The great escape… I ended my day exploring the southern part of the island in Stanley, a quiet town and former British administrative center during colonial rule.
