Part 1 of my 48-hour solo mission on the River Thames near Oxford! The summer sun is out, the water is crystal clear, and the river is teeming with life. In this episode, I find a secluded spot along the Thames to set up camp for two days of fishing and signal crayfish trapping. Expectations were high. I could see massive fish cruising right in front of my swim, but as any angler knows, seeing them and catching them are two very different things! Even though the big fish were mocking me, there's nothing better than being out in the wild, enjoying the peace of the river, and testing out some gear.
