Every Life Has Its Purpose is an original musical film created by Being Heard Music Group, an inclusive and creative music group based at a registered charity and adult day service provider, Cerebral Palsy Midlands. Established in 2010 and supported by Musical Director Richard Ganner, Being Heard empowers adults with cerebral palsy and other disabilities to express themselves, build confidence, and connect through music as an art form. Through rehearsals, performances, and creative collaboration, the group’s work celebrates voice, identity, and community. This powerful film tells the story of Dr Earl Carlson and the founding of the first UK school dedicated to supporting children with Cerebral Palsy. Created to mark the 70th anniversary of the Carlson School, the project has grown into a moving ensemble production that brings together music, storytelling, and lived experience. Directed and composed by Richard Ganner, with support from Craig Keogh, Every Life Has Its Purpose is a celebration of creativity, collaboration, and the belief that every individual has something meaningful to share. 🎶 Every life has its purpose.
