The Pools Of Tranquillity are 2 stunning wild swimming locations outside the village of Balmoral in the Southern Highlands of NSW. The walk in is around 2kms each way with 1km of easy firetrail and a km of well-defined, and reasonably easy walking track. Map to the parking spot here: https://maps.app.goo.gl/jP7z1k1cHuHiu... The pools are located on the Bargo River and are quite large and deep in places and are just perfect for a dip on a hot day, sadly, not much shade down there. The walking track to these pools is located on OSM maps, NOT Google Maps. Allow an average of 30 minutes each way for in and out.
