During his journey, Yue Wuyi encounters companions including Wenren Yu, a warrior from Baicao Valley; Xia Yize, a disciple of Taihua Mountain; and Aruan, a beautiful girl with a mysterious past. His perseverance pays off, and Yue Wuyi finds Xie Yi and becomes his disciple. However, the emergence of a force called Liuyue City unveils a series of mysteries and plunges everyone into danger. Yue Wuyi and his companions, along with Xie Yi, search for the ancient sword Zhaoming. On their journey, they encounter an attack led by Shen Ye, the high priest of Liuyue City, who sacrifices himself to save them. Through the puppet "Tongtian Zhiqi" left behind by Xie Yi, Yue Wuyi learns about Xie Yi's relationship with Liuyue City and the city's past. It turns out that Shen Ye, in order to save the nearly destroyed Liuyue City, has formed a partnership with Liying, a move that, if successful, will inevitably endanger humanity.
