I decided that I'd grow these mushrooms on an enriched hardwood fruiting block, made from soaked hardwood pellets and mixed with wheat bran and gypsum powder. After combining all the ingredients and loading them into the .5 micron filtered grow bag, I pressure sterilized the substrate for 2.5 hours at 15 PSIG. After allowing the substrate to cool to less than 85 F, I mixed in the fully colonized grain spawn.
