Road Legal 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail driving around Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps

I recently reopened my 2017 Spa Classic folder and I found a lot of material I've never uploaded before. Believe me or not, but I completely forgot of having seen this true work of art: a 1997 McLaren F1 GTR Longtail, chassis 19R. This is not just one of the only 10 GTR Longtails ever produced but this the first one built and used by McLaren as a prototype/development car. It was then sold to a private team and raced for many years in the GT500 class of the All Japan Grand Touring Car Championship, under the Team Take One yellow colours. It was then repainted to its original black 1997 presentation livery and shown at the 2014 Goodwood Festival of Speed, driven by Kenny Bräck. After that it has been road converted by Lanzante and Gordon Murray Design (the first Longtail to receive that treatment) and sold to a private customer. The GTR Longtail was powered by an extensive modified BMW S70 V12 engine that was de-stroked from the 'original' 6,064 cc down to 5,990 cubic centimetres in an attempt to prolong the life of the engines. The max power remained the same at 600hp (but with air restrictors). Compared to the GTR 'Short Tail' the Lontgail was almost 100kg lighter (915 kg vs 1,012 kg) and the standard manual gearbox was replaced with a new X-trac 6-speed sequential transmission. Watch chassis 19R doing some free practice laps around Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps during the first Global Endurance Legends (now become a real championship and called Endurance Racing Legends) event at the 2017 Spa Classic by Peter Auto. Unfortunately the car was featuring a pair of mufflers on the exhaust so it wasn't as loud as it should have been but probably they were added after the road conversion to be slightly more civilized on the streets.
