Fastest Mumbai to Secunderabad train, 12219 Mumbai LTT - Secunderabad AC Duronto departs from Wadi Jn. after a technical halt and negotiates the beautiful yet deadly curve towards Secunderabad. It was hauled by a Gooty WDP 4D locomotive numbered 40204. The Duronto Express earlier had technical halts at Pune, Solapur and Wadi Jn. . However, Pune and Solapur were converted to commercial halts owing to less patronage in this train. Its the fastest connectivity by rail from Mumbai to Hyderabad but it still struggles to get full occupancy in its coaches at times. Wadi Junction railway station is located in Gulbarga district in the Indian state of Karnataka and serves Wadi. It is a junction station where the Wadi-Secunderabad line meets the Mumbai-Chennai line. The Wadi-Secunderabad line was built in 1874 with financing by the Nizam of Hyderabad.
