Did God Really Heal My Drinking Problem?

I’ll never forget the night I poured my final glass of wine in 2018 and how different that night was compared to all of my previous attempts to quit drinking. The Lord impressed on me that this was my last glass - I was healed by Him. Although this has been an encouragement to many people, others doubt that I had a problem, or that the Lord would heal me this way. Jesus said “The Spirit of the Lord is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed; To proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord.” Luke 4:18-19.
