Best Jerkbait Rod | Lew's Custom Plus Jerkbait Special

I love fishing equipment and am a sucker for a great rod. I purchased the new Lew's Custom Plus Speed Stick and am very happy with the Jerbait Special HM60 rod. One of my complaints with a lot of rods that can be used for jerkbaits is the butt section of the rod. I like a very short handle (butt section) for fishing a jerkbait, and Lew's has nailed it with this rod. It is the perfect length and stays out of the way when jerking that rod all day. This rod is a Medium Power rod with a Moderate Taper and the action is excellent for catching and holding onto the fish. Although I am a little over 6ft tall, I really like a shorter rod for fishing jerkbaits and the rod length at 6' 7" is perfect for me. All in all, what's not to like about this great rod? They have thought of everything and the price is great too.
