Flooded Elevators at Cincinnati's East Garage

Due to recent heavy rainfall, the Ohio River crested at a height of 60.91 ft on April 7, 2025. This is the 2nd highest the water has been in 30 years. It's higher than 2018 (60.53ft) but lower than 1997 (64.7ft) This is still nowhere close to the 1937 flood which reached an insane height of 80ft. (For context, the river's normal pool is at 25ft) Many parking garages, roads, parks, and structures near the river are submerged, including the glass Dover elevators at the East Garage. The lower level has about 4-5 feet of water in it. The elevators were turned off and parked up a couple levels to avoid being flooded. However, the pit is full of water and will have to get pumped out when the water recedes.
