1927 roadster project Episode 6 The is the start of the 1927 Ford roadster build that will be known as The Pinetree T. the car is a 1927 Ford Model T roadster. It will be powered by a1941Ford flathead V8 with some early speed parts on it, Mated to an early ford 3 speed transmission and a V8 banjo rear axle. This episode I get to work on welding the wishbone mounts as well as the wishbones. I also started fabrication on the shock mounts. 1927 ford roadsters are quite small and they take some time making sure things are fitted correctly to make things work. Things went together nice and smooth and I’m excited to keep moving forwards with the next stages to make the car a roller in episodes 7 or 8. I hope you enjoy the series as I build this 1927 Ford Model T roadster into a true traditional hotrod in my driveway. I will be racing this car at Pinetree Jamboree at Winterport dragway in Winterport, Maine The event will be held in August 2022 brought to you by The Tornados Car Club of New England. I am a member of that club and I help put on the event !
