This guided meditation is designed to help calm the nervous system and restore a sense of safety in the present moment. If you’re feeling anxious, overwhelmed, shut down, or emotionally activated, this practice offers a gentle way to come back into your body—without forcing relaxation or positive thinking. This meditation is: • trauma-informed • nervous-system-safe • invitational, not directive • appropriate even when regulation feels difficult You don’t need to visualize, forgive, process, or fix anything. In this practice, you’ll be guided to: • orient to present-moment safety • notice physical support and grounding sensations • allow the body to settle at its own pace • gently reassure the nervous system that nothing is required right now This meditation works with the body, not against it. You can pause or stop at any time. Many people find this helpful for anxiety, emotional overwhelm, hypervigilance, or after a difficult interaction.
