The Official Proceedings of the 1860 Republican National Convention - Resolved, That we, the delegated representatives of the Republican electors of the United States in Convention assembled, in discharge of the duty we owe to our constituents and our country, unite in the following declarations: 4. That the maintenance inviolate of the rights of the states, and especially the right of each state to order and control its own domestic institutions according to its own judgment exclusively, is essential to that balance of powers on which the perfection and endurance of our political fabric depends; and we denounce the lawless invasion by armed force of the soil of any state or territory, no matter under what pretext, as among the gravest of crimes. 6. That the people justly view with alarm the reckless extravagance which pervades every department of the Federal Government; that a return to rigid economy and accountability is indispensable to arrest the systematic plunder of the public treasury by favored partisans; while the recent startling developments of frauds and corruptions at the Federal metropolis, show that an entire change of administration is imperatively demanded. 14. That the Republican party is opposed to any change in our naturalization laws or and state legislation by which the rights of citizens hitherto accorded to immigrants from foreign lands shall be abridged or impaired; and in favor of giving full and efficient protection to rights of all classes of citizens, whether native or naturalized, both at home and abroad. President Donald Trump signed an executive order December 11, 2025 aimed at limiting State's rights to implement Our own legislation around the use and deployment of A,I,. I do not believe in the use of A.I. for any task or means. Many fear A.I. will replace their job, analysts and talking heads throw around Accountant, Real Estate Agent, and Doctor. This is incorrect: A.I. will not replace these jobs; an accountant, A.I. will be unable to justify to the IRS why your home is tax-deductible because you use the dining room as a home office, why your truck is a company vehicle, why the boat is a write-off because you take clients out on it, and why the stack of dollar coffee receipts from McDonalds are also deductible. If you have seen the movie "The Accountant", take note of the scene where The Accountant is sitting with Mr. and Mrs. Rice about their taxes. The ability to sit with clients and glean cues about what is necessary is why Accounts, Real Estate Agents, and Doctors are irreplaceable. The "replaceable" jobs will be check-out cashiers, welders, CNC operators, and those who work in offices. Any job that leaves you feeling like a machine at the end of your shift will have you replaced with an A.I. powered machine. Cashiers will be replaced by overhead cameras above the conveyor belt and weight sensitive plates underneath to ensure product consistency. Welders will be next: cars are already welded and spray-painted by machines but the machines themselves are very clumsy and limited in their mobility. A.I. powered arms and oculars will give the machines the sense of finesse they have been missing. It will not be long before the rig is the size of you arm and the welding tip the size of a finger. I have been a CNC operator, I have seen machines that can run and unload themselves. All that is required of operators of newer machines is to turn them on, set the tooling, choose the programming, hit start, and measure the product at the end to ensure consistence. Soon, spindle heads will be able to choose themselves and the floor manager will be able to beam programming straight to machines, A.I. will handle the rest. Office workers already complain about the mechanical nature of typing numbers into cell-sheets; the programs to automatically fill the cells have already arrived. Disallowing State regulation gives business-as-a-concept the reason to en masse fire employees the moment these technology become available and implementable. There is something to be said of at-will-employment, a double-edged sword and the second edge is very sharp. A.I. powered business should be taxed differently than conventional operations - if you will not pay employees, then pay your taxes. The White House Ballroom has a cost of $330-Million, the lawsuits brought against the Department of Justice by President Trump amount to $330-Million. If President Trump were to win these suites the White House Ballroom will be funded by the American Taxpayer with a DOJ letterhead. You will argue that times have changed - I will argue we are less civilized than our forebearers. I do not care about who is stealing what, or defrauding who-else. Do not break the laws of the country you are in, send your children to school so that they may receive standardized education, and God allow those children to grow into tax paying citizens. twitch.tv/mayorinlaw linkedin.com/in/cameron-harris-52aa14363
