Mineral Extraction is one of the Remote Sensing Applications through satellite images. Using the reflection and emit of a feature (Mineral in this case) you can easily detect & Monitor that feature. in this video, we've used the characteristic of reflection to extract minerals. We've utilized Aster image because of its high ability in detecting Minerals. At first, we've shown how to pre-process Aster images such as Radiometric & Geometric corrections, etc. Then we've extracted each mineral using its formula in the ENVI software using its band math.
