Making music brings me so much joy and is the bright spot during difficult times. I want to share to spread some joy. This CBG (cigar box guitar) was the first guitar that I made with a fretted neck. I did a couple hours of set up on it recently & got it playing pretty rad! I’ve been jamming on this song for a few weeks inspired by an 80s guitar video by Rob Baker. I’m an 80s kid all the way, and I’m having a blast digging into 80s guitar tone and composition style. I hope you enjoy it too! This has the first guitar solo I’ve ever composed myself. It’s not perfect, but I recorded the video at 4:44, and my dog gave me a high 5 at the end, so I figure it’s a keeper! Please be kind to each other, my friends.
