Located in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, the Memorial Thomas Sankara is a stunning tribute to the man who fought for universal education, agricultural self-sufficiency, and social equity. This 9,760-square-meter complex stands on the historic site where Sankara and his comrades were assassinated in 1987, featuring an 87-meter-tall tower that symbolizes resilience and reflection. Surrounded by water, the site includes a media library, workshops, restaurants, and offices, all connected by a lush green promenade.
