Welcome to Colombia Santa Ana Airport. Today we're flying an IFR departure using a unique flight plan sent in by Flight Quest 40 subscriber Mike Minor, who lives in Colombia and is a faithful supporter of the Flight Quest 40 channel, he created and shared this real-world-feasible route - and I'm excited to bring it to life in X-Plane12.4. For this flight, I downloaded his flight route into Little Navmap. I used actual downloaded real-time weather, so you'll see X-Plane 12's atmospheric rendering of weather and clouds at its best. With the clouds and visibility reduced, so convincing you may forget you're watching a simulator. A huge Thank-you to Michael Minor for contributing this route and for being a dedicated subscribe to this ever-growing channel - where slow growth still counts and every viewer matters. I am pleased to fly in Colombia via X-Plane 12.4. Great to share his enthusiasm of flight via home aviation simulators. Let's not forget about Austin Myers, Ben Supnik and committed team who make all this possible with X-Plane 12 and their continual innovations and conceptual applications into the world of home aviation simulators. ✈️ Aircraft: Laminar Cessna Skyhawk XP 🌄 Airport: Santa Ana (SKGO) to La Nubia (SKMZ) Colombia 🛬 Approach: Manizales La Nubia VOR-Y RWY 10 🖥️ Simulator: X‑Plane 12 00:00 – Introduction 00:35 – Flight Briefing 10:20 – Taxi for departure 13:15– Engine Run-up checks 18:05 – Take-Off 19:45– SID 19 departure 29:00 – Arrival over VOR outbound 38:00 – DME ARC beginning 45:50 – Turning to in-bound course VOR-Y 54:45– Airport in sight 57:00 – Landing 58:45 – Outro Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant Honeycomb Alpha Yoke Thrustmaster Rudder Pedals GeForce RTX 3080 Coffee cup Insignia Speakers w/ Bass Boster Box Three 50-inch TVs mounted to wall.
