Shield Arms S15 Gen 3 Review (Slimline Glock Saver... Improved) Welcome to Firearms of America! Today, I have the all new, gen 3, Shield Arms magazines. I have been carrying my Glock 48 with Shield Arms mags for about 4-5 months now. My set up is a 15 round mag and a 20 round mag in a separate mag carrier. While personally I never had any issues with Shield Arms mags, I got a few comments saying that people have experienced their Glocks not locking back on the last round. Looks like Shield Arms have addressed this concern with a slightly taller follower. It might be really hard to tell the difference between gen 2 and gen 3 S15 mags, without having them both next to each other, but testing both of the generations at the same time, you can definitely notice some subtle changes that improve the overall design.
