In this video we are bringing in two unique experiences in Wayanad - Bamboo rafting in Kuruva Island and pure Village flavours of tea and pazhampori from Sughuvettante Chayakkada. Before visiting Kuruva Island, we enjoyed our lunch at Matha Mess (   • കാട്ടിലെ ഊണ് കട! The BEST Pocket-Friendly ...  ). Once we reached Kuruva Island, we chose bamboo rafting as one of the activities we could do there. Although there were oars on the bamboo raft, the raft men pulled us across the water using ropes tied over the river. We also had the opportunity to go further into Kuruva Island, but after spending some time on the raft, we went to Sukuvaettan's shop for tea. Sukuvaettan's shop is approximately 5–6 kilometers from Kuruva Island. At Sukuvaettan's thatched tea stall, located in a beautiful rural setting, you should only expect snacks and tea. While we were eating Pazhampori (banana fritters) and tea, hot Ullivada (onion fritters) were brought from Sukuvaettan's house. We ate one of those as well. More than just the delicious food, there is a special joy in sitting in that rural atmosphere, sipping tea with friends, and engaging in small talk.
