The Menanites are a punk band. Good. They're a hardcore punk band. Great. They're a Bloomin'ton/NWI punk band. Fuckin' rad. Put out by Not Normal Tapes in 2012, this demo CS is sure to impress (mostly). The first track is incredible, an emotional song about the monotony of life. The rest of the demo varies in quality, with a track or two leaving me unimpressed. But hey, they did a Cher cover, so that's funny, right? Anyways, I still highly suggest picking this up and adding it to your collection. It's still a blast to listen to, and who could say no to s'more shit coming out of the Midwest?
