Lochgelly winters in Jan 93 and Nov 2010. Enjoy :)

the first 16 pictures were taken from video stills from a video my dad took in Jan 93. he went out to the close every day just to film the severity of the extreme weather. with gale force winds and drifting snow it made some places impassable. it went on and off for over a week with no signs of stopping. the rest of the pics were taken 1 day in late Nov 2010. it was a bad winter and it started bringing back memories when i was a kid. winters are nothing like what they were back then. thankfully we do have proof to show the younger generations that "THE BIG FREEZE" did happen in Lochgelly. in all my school days i only missed 1 school day at Lochgelly West because bob white (the janny) said "the boiler had broke down" lol. then it was 2 years at old beath and 2 at new beath in the early 80's and the bus still managed up Stenhouse Street and Foulford Road. these days an inch of snow and the countrys on its knees. how things have changed eh? thanks for watching and if you are from this area then a memory or 2 mustve passed you buy watching this :) please feel free to leave comments but no shit please. p.s i will upload the video my dad took in the few weeks. seeing is believing as they say :):)
