American Family's SPECIAL Filipino Palm Sunday to Start The Holy Week!

Why is the Holy Week so special in the Philippines? We were able to experience and find the answer for ourselves. On Palm Sunday, we woke up early to join our Filipino brothers and sisters as we attended a Catholic Mass with them. It was really cool to see the Palaspas palm leaves that so many were waving in the air, symbolic of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem. After the Catholic Mass, we attended a ward congregation of our church: The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. It was wonderful to worship and sing with our fellow saints. Later on, we worshiped God and Jesus Christ by watching a video of Christ's triumphal entry into Jerusalem and discussing that as a family.
