Today we are replacing the thermostat housing on a 2019 Mercedes A180 as the plastic weld had failed allowing it to leak approx. 2 litres of fluid in 5 mins. Tools needed, T30 Torx screwdriver 3/8 ratchet 3/8 long extension bar 3/8 short extension bar 3/8 E8 socket 3/8 E10 socket Small pick Small flathead screwdriver Extendable mirror 3x plastic hose clamps Hose clamp pliers 7mm jubilee clip screwdriver Long long nose pliers Torch Spray lubricant Coolant I used about 2 litres Gasket sealer (optional) When we say tighten it up if it needs torquing that is down to you to find the necessary settings not us, as all vehicles are different.
