Location: Auglaize Township Fire Department System: Paulding County Test time: Every Wednesday at 1 PM Enthusiasts present: Tommy (@buckeyenotifications) Well, it's finally been fixed...sort of. So we stopped by this thing about a month prior to this, and we noticed the chopper cap looked more yellow than it did before, and upon closer inspection, it had a couple C-clamps on it, which appear to be holding the chopper cap to the chopper tube. After making this discovery, we knew we had to record this thing as soon as possible. Upon activation, we immediately noticed that the chopper level had seemingly been bumped up. Before it got sick, it peaked at a chopper level 4 pitch, but now, it peaks at a level 6 pitch. If you listen closely, there is still some slight vibrato-like pitch wavering throughout the test (which I didn't notice in person), and it slowly loses pitch overall as the test goes on. It still seems to be slightly sick, albeit nowhere near as bad as it was before. I suspect they might've lubricated the original bearings rather than replacing them, but I could be wrong. It's also very likely that the slip rings are a bit rough. In any case, it is running miles better now than it was before, so that's good at least. Enjoy!
