How Master Maker hand made one of his Star Wars Astromech Droids, Zoe the Emerald Droid. We call her Zoe, in a nod to the influence of Battle Star Galactical and her Cylon visuals, and she is a R11:E1. "What ?" we hear the Star Wars Droid aficionados say - "Wait there is there is no R11 in Astromechs droid line up!" Well, yes you are right. Her head design is based on the R9 series, but since she is a strip down visual we used the R11 mnemonic, using the next available number! Here we show you how this flamboyant Droid was hand built by Master Maker, who then added the steam, spray, sound, movement and lighting systems.
