NFLX (NFL Expanded) is a 36 team league based on the premise that the NFL and the original USFL merged in 1987 (as a result of the USFL winning the trial, but also getting the money - which didn't happen in real-life when they won the trial and got $1 in damages). In this timeline, the NFL is now playing an 18-game regular season over 20 week (each team gets two bye weeks).
