Don’t worry. God’s ready. Psalm 86:5 For You, O Lord, are good, and ready to forgive [our sins, sending them away, completely letting them go forever and ever]; And abundant in lovingkindness and overflowing in mercy to all those who call upon You. “Wait. Hold on. Let me get warmed up first. I gotta stretch.” These are words you will never hear your God say. He is ready. He is prepared. He is more than willing to not only hear you. He welcomes you to plead your case. He is eager to answer you. He wants you to know that you have been heard. He wants to be your answer. Matthew 8 1 When he was come down from the mountain, great multitudes followed him. 2 And, behold, there came a leper and worshipped him, saying, Lord, if thou wilt, thou canst make me clean. 3 And Jesus put forth his hand, and touched him, saying, I will; be thou clean. And immediately his leprosy was cleansed. He came down from the mountain, after taking a hike, all the way up to the summit. I’m sure it was hot. I’m certain He was tired. The crowd was loud. The time wasn’t exactly th most convenient. Yet, the man with leprosy finds his way to Jesus. He asks, “Lord if you want to, if you are at all willing, You can make me clean.” Jesus doesn’t complain about the man’s approach. He doesn’t explain that He’s tired. He doesn’t say, “Sorry buddy, it’s been a really long day. You know how it is.” He doesn’t make any excuses. His reply? “I will. I want to. Certainly. Without a doubt. Of course, I want to. Don’t be silly, sure I will. Be clean.” He’s ready to hear you. He’s ready to answer. Are you ready to call on Him? Share this:
