Soumiya Ravi is an international footballer who has represented India numerous times. Hers is a story of how she became a footballer against all odds. Only through her sheer determination and hard work has she been able to become what she is today in a country like ours where there still prevails so much gender discrimination. An international footballer, and a student of medicine, Soumiya Ravi perfectly shows how one can truly ‘have it all’. Starting her journey of football at a tender of 12, it wasn't long before that, that she led Team India as the captain in her second international tournament playing as a mid-fielder in the U-16 girls team.
