Hawaiʻi Public Radio halted all live events in our Atherton Performing Arts Studio due to the pandemic. In February 2023, HPR launched a new live performance series dedicated to Mele Hawaiʻi. ʻUheʻuhene kicked off our Mele Hawaiʻi Performance Series. We celebrated Mahina ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi (Hawaiian Language Month) with the Live performances and now we celebrate Hawaiian History Month with these video releases.
