Hello and welcome to today's video where we will be taking a look at a tortilla production line. This type of production line is commonly used in the food industry to create uniform and consistent tortilla dough buns for a variety of different dishes. The first machine in the forming line is the dough divider rounder. The divider takes the large ball of dough and divides it into smaller and shapes them into round buns. The rounder uses a series of rollers to gently shape the dough, ensuring that each bun is uniform in shape and size. These pieces are then sent along the conveyor to the next machine. After the dough has been rounded, it is sent along the conveyor to the intermediate proofer, which allows the dough to rise. This is an important step in the process as it allows the dough to develop its characteristic texture and flavor.
