CRI Jamaica Deployment Feb 2026 - Day # 8 Update: Final update. Waiting for bus to get to our car from LAX. What a long day. First of all, I’m so proud of the entire Crisis Response International Responder team for this deployment. Every person worked their tails off and every one of them brought their own twist to meaningful ministry. To Adrianna, Natasha, Chad, Larry, Connie, Jim, Laura and Keith thank you. You guys blessed and served so many, and likewise blessed me immensely. Miss yall already. To our admin team on the back end, THANK YOU! Ferrin, Jennifer, Evan and all the others that made this deployment possible i cant express how much I appreciate you. Again, thank you. The work we did was hard. It was hands on and many days completely draining. But ALL of it was meaningful and all of it was done to spread Christs love to those that have been impacted by hurricane Melissa. Job well done for sure. In all honesty we just scratched the surface. There’s so much to be done. We worked with Operation Blessing this week to help pour concrete slabs, that’s one step of many in the process to rebuild new houses for survivors that lost everything. Only a few of a hundred, with the possibility of even more. The Jamaican people need our continued support and prayers. I’m really going to miss the feeling that service gives. It’s difficult to explain, but every return home from a deployment with CRI is hard. You’ll miss your team, you’ll miss the family you made there (like Wade, the YWAM and Def World Team, the Operation Blessing Team, etc.), you’ll miss it all. We serve those that have lost so much, but it brings a joy and sense of accomplishment that’s hard to put into words. Another one in the books. Thanks to all my family and friends who supported me and the entire CRI team.
