Students at the National University of Singapore (NUS) are growing increasingly frustrated at the overcrowding in canteens and internal shuttle buses due to an influx of tourists on the campus. The National University of Singapore Students’ Union (NUSSU) is calling for a town hall with undergraduates on Aug 21 so that they can air their grievances over this influx. The Straits Times visited NUS and found that while there was frustration, there was also pride in the fact that the campus has become a tourist hotspot.
