This is an 8-bit cover of „Andy's Anthem“ from the „Advance Wars“ games made in FamiTracker with the N163 expansion chip. The song is within Gameboy limitations. In celebration of the return of Fire Emblem's smaller sibling series – even if we just visit Re-Boot Camp – here's a rendition of the probably most prominent character from Advance Wars. A few of the songs in that game somehow managed to stick to only major chords. Andy's Anthem (with five different major chords!) is no exception and definitly fits his positive attitude. Andy is a rather surprising choice for a CO; a happy-go-lucky kid really doesn't seem to be as strategic to win wars, let alone contributing to the defeat of the biggest threat to the Allied Nations. One has to wonder if he only got so famous because he picked the tool used in the games' logo, a wrench. Yes, this young fellow is supposedly a mechanic – while not knowing what an airport is. Either he's hoping to make fun of his self-proclaimed rival Eagle or I have to assume he's „fixing“ stuff by throwing his wrench at it! Nevertheless he managed to become the orange star of the first two games. … what do you mean he's wearing red, not orange? Are you Japanese?
