In this video, we’re teeing it up in the Winter Eclectic Competition at Castle Park Golf Course… and trust me, this is NOT what you picture when you think of winter golf in Scotland. Blue skies. Dry fairways. Decent lies. In February?! Yep — this was filmed less than two weeks ago, right at the start of the month. If this is Scottish winter, we’ll take it all day long! Now, if you’re wondering what on earth a “Winter Eclectic” actually is, here’s the quick version: It’s not just one round. It’s months of golf. From November through to the end of March, you can play as many rounds as you like. On every hole, your BEST score gets recorded. Birdie the 3rd in December? That’s locked in. Par the 7th in January? That replaces your old bogey. By the end, your card is made up of your absolute best scores on every single hole. Basically… it’s like building your dream round of golf — one hole at a time. The more you play, the better your chances. The more you improve, the lower that eclectic score drops. And at the end? One winner takes it. If you enjoy the video, please give it a like — it genuinely helps more than you think. And if you’re new here, consider subscribing. It honestly means the world to me. Massive thanks to everyone who watched the last video — I’m hoping you can see a bit of improvement in this one… even if there are still a few “what was I thinking?” moments in there 😂 I’m still making mistakes — plenty of them — but I’m learning every single round. The goal? Golfing all over Scotland. Showcasing everything from Top 100 gems to hidden courses you’ve probably never heard of. I’m a total golf nut playing as much as I possibly can, and I just love sharing the beauty of Scottish golf with you all. Let’s get into it. 🏌️♂️🔥
