2015-09-13 Hochfelln, Chiemgau, Full HD - Mount Hochfelln in September My goodness, what a nice day this was :) A bit of hiking and then from the middle station up with the cable railway to the top of Mount Hochfelln, Bavaria, district Chiemgau. Mount Hochfelln is somewhat around 1,650 Meters elevation and one has a stunning view deep into the alps in all directions, but in the north is lake Chiemsee, the Bavarien sea, like he is named too with the island Herreninsel and Fraueninsel. At the island Herreninsel once was a resicence of King Ludwig II. Anyway, from Mount Hochfelln one can see othere Mountains like the mountains Wilder Kaiser, Watzmann, Hoher Dachstein, Loferer Steinberge, Kampenwand, Untersberg, Zwiesel, Schönfeldspitze and many more ... Oh, have to mention, I was rather out of shape, made a liver flush the night before and felt rather rocky, so it was a good idea to take the cable railway ;) Ein toller Tag auf dem Hochfelln im September. Der Hochfelln ist ungefähr 1.650 Meter hoch und liegt im Chiemgau südlich des Chiemsees in den Bayerischen Alpen, bzw. Chiemgauer Alpen. Von ihm aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick nach allen Richtungen tief in die Alpen und sieht Berge wie beispielsweise den Wilden Kaiser, Watzmann, Hoher Dachstein, Loferer Steinberge, Kampenwand, Untersberg, Zwiesel, Schönfeldspitze und viele mehr. Auch auf den Chiemsee, dem Bayerischen Meer, hat man einen tollen Ausblick, und sieht die Fraueninsel wie die Herreninsel, auf dem das Schloss des einstigen Bayerischen Königs Ludwig II steht.
