We Thought This Place Would SUCK! First Impressions of Venice Grand Canal Mall in Manila

Our very first time visiting the Venice Grand Canal Mall in Manila! We had wanted to visit this mall for a really long time so we eventually decided to make the 8km journey from Makati... or 1 hour in traffic! Venice Grand Canal Mall in Taguig is a stunning shopping and leisure destination inspired by Venice, Italy. The mall features a picturesque canal with gondola rides, creating a romantic atmosphere. Visitors can explore charming walkways lined with boutiques, restaurants, and cafes. Its European-inspired architecture, combined with modern amenities, makes it a popular spot for both locals and tourists. We were absolutely blown away by this mall. It has beautiful architecture, a huge variety of shops, lots of food choices and of course, a bright blue canal running through the middle where you can try out swan pedalos or have a ride on a real gondola! We really enjoyed people watching by the canal and taking in the beauty of this mall, it's like no other mall we have ever visited before and definitely now one of our favourites. The gondola rides are 500 pesos per person (about £7) so we skipped that this time but we will go back soon to try it out. There is a beautiful padlock love bridge where couples and families secure their own padlock to the bridge as a sign of eternal love, it was so nice to walk along and read all the names written on the padlocks. We also found a supermarket inside called 'Marketplace' and we both LOVE looking round supermarkets in different countries to see what they have for sale and the difference between the UK. We actually found lots of UK products in the supermarket as they are a huge import of Waitrose, a premium supermarket we have back in the UK. Overall, we absolutely loved this mall and it's definitely one to put on your Manila itinerary if you are travelling through the Philippines! Thank you for watching!
