Today, I will explain in detail the correct way to use this portable and accurate wrist blood pressure monitor, allowing you to easily and accurately monitor your blood pressure at home. The correct steps for using a wrist blood pressure monitor are as follows: 1. Preparation: Please take the measurement in a quiet and relaxed environment. It is recommended to sit and rest for at least 5-10 minutes before measurement. Avoid measuring immediately after exercise, eating, drinking coffee, smoking, or emotional excitement. Empty your bladder and keep your mind and body relaxed. 2. Wearing the Wristband It is recommended to use your left wrist first (most people find their left hand more stable). Place the wristband directly on your bare wrist (without clothing). Wristband position: Approximately 1-2 cm (about one finger's width) from the wrist crease (wrist joint crease), with the blood pressure monitor display facing upwards towards your palm. The wristband should fit snugly against the skin, with a moderate tightness—no noticeable gaps, but not too tight (ideally, one or two fingers should be able to fit underneath). Avoid the bony prominence of the wrist (ulnar styloid process) and position the sensor as close as possible to the artery on the inside of the wrist. 3. Correct Measurement Posture: Sit upright with back support and feet flat on the ground. Do not cross your legs or lean forward. The arm being measured should be relaxed naturally, palm facing up, with the elbow resting on a table or flat surface for support. The most crucial point: Keep the wrist blood pressure monitor (at the wrist position) at the same height as your heart (approximately heart level, near the chest). Remain quiet throughout the measurement; do not talk, move your arm, or clench your fist. 4. Start Measurement: Press the power/start button. The device will automatically inflate and begin measurement. Please remain still and relax your arm during the measurement. After a few seconds to tens of seconds, the device will automatically deflate, and the screen will clearly display: systolic blood pressure (high pressure), diastolic blood pressure (low pressure), and pulse value. Some models will also display prompts indicating whether the heart rate is regular or too high. Tips and Precautions: A. It is recommended to measure at the same time every day (such as after waking up in the morning and before going to bed at night). Continuous recording provides more valuable data. B. There should be at least 2-3 minutes between two measurements to avoid wrist congestion affecting accuracy. C. Measurement results are for reference only.
