Subscribe to our channel for more simple home made recipes!    / @samandfengcooking   Instagram:   / samandfengcooking   Printable recipe: http://samandfengcooking.com/ Recipe: 1 lb Chicken legs 2 cups buttermilk 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 tablespoon ground mustard 1 teaspoon thyme 1 teaspoon oregano ½ teaspoon sage 1 teaspoon chili powder Seasoned flour: 1 ½ cups flour ½ cup cornstarch 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon pepper 1 teaspoon smoked paprika 1 teaspoon chili powder 2 teaspoons garlic powder 2 teaspoons onion powder 1. Add smoked paprika, ground mustard, thyme, oregano, sage and chili powder to 2 cups of buttermilk. Add the chicken legs to the mix and marinate for at least 2 hours. 2. Heat oil in a pot or deep fryer to 350°F. 3. While the oil is heating up add the flour, cornstarch, salt, smoked paprika, chili powder, garlic powder and onion powder to a bowl and mix until combined. 4. Take out each piece of chicken and drain off the excess marinade then coat in the seasoned flour, making sure every spot is covered. 5. Add a few pieces of chicken in the oil at a time making sure not to overcrowd the pot. 6. Cook the chicken for 12-14 minutes or until they are golden brown and the internal temperature is 165°F. 7.
