Space Systems company, Rocket Lab, enlisted Hendy’s Science and Technology Studio to deliver a highly adaptable and branded space optimizing productivity and production. Complete with a large manufacturing floor, open-concept office space, and a space-themed customer experience room, the headquarters embodies a dynamic union of form and function. The manufacturing floor is the central showpiece with a flexible layout including a 3D printing area, clean room, assembly areas and quality control rooms. The overlooking workspace exemplifies Rocket Lab’s collaborative spirit and commitment to transparency with open workstations used by all employees from the C-suite to the interns. Designed to inspire a high impact for customers and visitors, the customer experience area features black floors and walls with accents of red and white to introduce the company’s colors; two large projection screens for viewing live launches; and a 450-bulb lighting installation that replicates space.
