Well, this theme has been a year in the making. This is a rearrangement of the main theme I wrote for my own DnD campaign about four youths setting out to find their place in the world (and accidentally saving it). On the date of this upload I run my final session of the game. Its been one hell of a ride. If you're one of my players (and I know some of yall lurk my channel, I see your comments :kekw:), stop listening, you'll hear it tonight. Come back to it tomorrow :v On the music itself, it seamlessly modulates between F dorian and Eb major, starting in darkness and emerging in powerful, blinding light. To really reaffirm the power of the sudden shift to major, I have the classic bVI - bVII - I chord progression, with a colour #4 added to the bVI chord to really amp up the blinding brightness of three major chords separated by whole tones. However, since this is the end of the campaign, the ending of the piece is more grounded and brings in a touch of bittersweetness. Vamping between Ab major and F minor, suddenly bringing in Bb7, only to lull us back towards the tonic with a minor plagal cadence - Ab major, Ab minor, Eb major.
