Enjoy those moments. Because when you're old and look back at your life you’ll miss those times. When the pressure was on and you had to perform. When you needed others and they needed you. When at the end of the day you were drained of all energy, but would somehow muster up enough to not let your family know it. You’d play with the kids. Or pick them up from practice and share stories on the ride home. Laugh around the dinner table over the most ridiculous things. Put them to bed. Say prayers. Spend some time with the one you love. Then close your eyes and quickly fall asleep, only to wake up in what felt like just minutes later, to do it all over again. If you’re living in this moment now, savor it. Cherish it. For although it may not feel like it now, it will pass in a flash. And you will miss it. Enjoy your moments mastering your craft, working to make a difference. Take time to tell others you care about them. Brighten their day. Pause and reflect on your accomplishments every now and again. But remember, it’s not about you, it’s about bringing happiness and success to those around you. Make a positive impact. Create a legacy those who know you will never forget. But don’t get lost in work, spend valuable time with your family each day. Try to leave work at work and give them your full attention. After all, giving one's time is the greatest act of love. Go on family vacations often, even if it's just a weekend camping trip, or a night at a nearby hotel to swim in their pool. It doesn’t have to be expensive. Don’t waste your weekends. The time before your kids grow older and get busy with their own life comes all too fast. I guess what I’m trying to say is make the most of the time you have. Even though it seems so limited.
