In this video, we continue our 2025 Dog-Friendly Cross-Country Road Trip in Episode 2! 🚗🐾 We start the morning in Oklahoma City, where a marathon changes our plans for coffee, leading us to try Dutch Bros for the first time. From there, we head west to Amarillo, Texas, and stop at the famous Tyler’s BBQ before making the long drive across New Mexico. With very few food options along the route (and no restaurants when we needed them most), we quickly learn an important lesson about planning meals while road tripping through NM. As the sun sets, we cross into Colorado, catching views of its desert landscapes, before finally arriving in Blanding, Utah, late at night. We make it to Subway just minutes before closing and check into a hotel advertised as dog friendly… but it wasn’t exactly what we expected.
