Follow the step-by-step method to make this classic dessert perfectly every time. ⸻ 📝 Ingredients • 1 cup Ghee (or Butter) • 1 cup Suji (Semolina) • 1 cup Sugar • 1 pinch Green Cardamom Powder • 3 cups Water (boiled) • 2 tablespoons Crushed Almonds ⸻ 👩🍳 Method – How to Make Suji Ka Halwa 1️⃣ Take a pan and add ghee or butter. Let it melt on low flame. 2️⃣ Add suji (semolina) and roast it on low flame for 30–35 minutes. Stir continuously until the suji turns golden brown and gives a rich aroma. 3️⃣ Once properly roasted, add sugar and cook for another 2–3 minutes, stirring well. 4️⃣ Add a pinch of green cardamom powder and mix. 5️⃣ Slowly add 3 cups of boiled water (be careful while adding as it may splutter). 6️⃣ Cook for another 5 minutes on low flame. Do not overcook. 7️⃣ When the mixture thickens and the ghee starts leaving the edges of the pan, it means your halwa is ready. 8️⃣ Add crushed almonds, mix well, and turn off the flame.
