Alfie's first two events!!

Sorry i haven't uploaded to this channel in ages, i upload a lot more to my 2nd channel now as i don't have as much time to edit -    / alfusally   Can't believe i've finally got somewhere with this horse, it's been a rollercoaster journey up to this point! Alf has taken to eventing as expected, a little green and it'll probably take this season to get him going but he seems to be growing each week out! At both events he's been second after dressage with a 33 and a 31, had 1 pole down the first event and due to horrible ground at the 2nd event and lack of studs he had 2 down. First xc we had some major control issues resulting in 2 stops ( more like galloping down a field and down a lane out of control lol) but with a bit change he had a lovely confident clear at the 2nd event and ended up 7th :) Possibly have 2 more events coming up in the next few weeks but unfortunately in the north of ireland there is an eventing break for 1 month (june) so i won't get back out properly until july.
