I started my hike in the town of Ortisei. And as I never make things easier for myself, I skipped the cable car ride up to the Seceda plateau. My first trail (Ortisei → Seceda plateau) began on route No. 9, and then I switched to route No. 2a. Surprisingly, in early July, the trail was completely empty (apparently, most people preferred taking the funicular). Step by step, moving only forward, breathtaking views opened up both ahead and behind me: green meadows, majestic mountains, tiny waterfalls, as well as adorable cows, birdsong, and a light mountain breeze. When I reached Seceda, I set off on my second trail across the plateau toward the Seceda Ridgeline. It was a walk at altitude, where the mountains seem closer and the wind carries the freshness of the glaciers. Yet it didn’t feel like a challenge. I was enjoying the scenery, breathing in the pure mountain air, and seizing the moment. Here and now you conquer, you admire, you just sit in the midst of all this grandeur that was once only my dream. For my descent, I chose a completely different route. The third trail from Seceda to Col Raiser brought me step by step closer to the majestic Odle Peaks. They are unique, unmatched and graceful. My final stop was Col Raiser, from where I took the cable car down to the charming little town of Santa Cristina Valgardena. 📌 You can check my full hiking route on Strava here: https://strava.app.link/gvKoenNMIVb 📸 Instagram: @lifewithnatallia 🌲https://linktr.ee/ntl.qnl 📧 Email: [email protected] #Seceda #Dolomites #Ortisei #ColRaiser #Italy #Hiking #Trekking #TravelVlog
