India’s Premier Aviation Show Aero India 2025 Takes Off In Bengaluru

The 15th edition of Aero India has opened in Bengaluru, with Defence Minister Rajnath Singh inaugurating the event at Air Force Station, Yelahanka. The biennial air show, described as Asia’s largest, will run until February 14. More than 900 exhibitors, including 150 foreign companies, will participate. Singh, who arrived in Bengaluru on Sunday, said the event reflects global confidence in India’s aerospace and defence industries. “Aero India is a platform that showcases the strength, resilience, and self-reliance of a new India,” he said. The event features displays by the Indian Air Force and global aerospace firms. The Russian Su-57 and the American F-35 Lightning II, two advanced fifth-generation fighter aircraft, are participating at the Indian event for the first time. The event includes a Defence Ministers’ Conclave, a CEOs Roundtable, and an exhibition featuring aerospace firms. Singh will also inaugurate the India Pavilion at Aero India 2025.
