World of Warcraft: Deomen the Vortex rare Hunter solo

Deomen is in my opinion the hardest of the 3 rares to kill in this area primarily because of the curse he inflicts on the player when you are not LoS and the grip that will pull you into his hit box. This was my second attempt at killing him so it is a bit messy and long because I was testing during the pull. I can definitely see players being able to do this much cleaner than how my attempt went and I will be revisiting Deomen in the future for sure. Now, onto the strat. Ideally you will be able to stand at the end of the stairs to deal constant damage to Deomen without his abilities even touching you, it may take a few attempts but there is a soft spot at the top where you can do this. He deals massive melee damage to your pet so you'll need to keep mend pet up constantly. The perfect time to do this is when he is casting Massive Eruption where he CANNOT use Death's Vortex or Decaying Grasp and you reset to the end of the stairs. Massive Eruption will knock your pet back so you'll want to make sure to send your pet to the middle of the platform asap so they don't get knocked into either of the casters on the left or right side of Deomen. Additionally there are 2 non elite Mawsworn on the staircase where you stand. Depending on how fast you do this fight you may need to deal with these mobs. They do hit decently hard if left unchecked so to keep them from getting out of control the best method trapping one (I suggest the right one) and killing the other while maintaining your pet on Deomen, at this point you would use Exhilaration to top you and your pet back up and at this point rinse and repeat the process. I am unsure if it is a bug or not but the first kill gave a seed and stygia, after going back and killing him several times with friends he has only dropped 1 Stygia on each kill so at this time I cannot recommend killing him on a daily basis.
